An Engagement Session in Marian Bear Park

Lukas and Jade really value being adventurous and spending time outdoors. They wanted a woodsy-feel without having to travel over an hour outside of our neighborhood. We decided to head over to photograph their engagement session in Marian Bear Park.

This place is super cute and quiet. If you go at the right time of year, it looks like it was made for photographers. Tall grass, natural archways made of trees and plants, bridges, a stream… magical!

I’m really itching to photograph at this park when there’s a superbloom. I bet the greens are lush and bright. I can’t imagine the crazy plants that grow and how great everything would look backlit by the sun!

We figured out that we all have a mutual love for classic rock, so it was obviously necessary to listen to Tom Petty the whole time that we were photographing. We talked about our favorite artists and albums while Lukas and Jade told me their engagement story.

I feel like I barely had to coach them through this session. Lukas and Jade have true, genuine love and respect for each other, and I think it really shows in these images. They had no problem showing their affection, so it made this session so special and so full of love.

It was so nice shooting an engagement session in Marian Bear Park. The photos always come out so whimsical and magical. This one was no less. I wish these two an incredible life of love and happiness together, they deserve it!

If you’re interested in being photographed with your person, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to get to know you!
